Murrayfield Parish Church is a Church of Scotland congregation with a membership drawn mainly from the surrounding Murrayfield, Roseburn and Saughtonhall districts. It is a partner in Murrayfield Churches Together with its neighbours The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal and Saughtonhall URC.

The church is situated on the corner of Ormidale Terrace and Abinger Gardens, and lies parallel with Corstorphine Road. Construction of this large cruciform building, built in gothic style, began in 1900. The long aisled and wood-vaulted nave of three large bays was completed first, followed by the transepts and finally the chancel. Like so many Edinburgh churches built at this time the building lacks externally a large tower or spire, making it easy to miss from the main road for so large an edifice.

The windows of the nave are of clear glass, while those of the chancel and transepts are filled with richly coloured glass of a most striking and dramatic quality. The large south transept window is almost anglican in flavour, with four saints portrayed in the lower lights.

The chancel features much carved woodwork, all of a piece, with the pipework of the large three-manual organ in a chamber on the south side. The organ console is built into the choirstalls and sits below the pipe facade.
